Almost a decade after its initial release, the ARPG Kingdoms of Amalur is getting new DLC called Fatesworn specifically for Re-Reckoning.
It’s hard to believe that Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is now nearly ten years old. THQ Nordic announced today that Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning will receive new DLC that is a decade in the making: Fatesworn.
Welcome back to Kingdoms of Amalur!
In Fatesworn, players will explore mountain villages and the ancient lake city of Crownhold, as well as a new Amalur setting packed with frozen tundras, deep dungeons, and deadly adversaries.
We shall have to control the unstable force of Chaos once more, as we did ten years ago, with a new non-combat skill tree and a unique class of weapons and armor. As the renowned Fatesworn, you will face off against the Niskaru and their Chaos brethren in one final battle, as randomly created Chaos dungeons turn every location of Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning into a possible battleground.
The upcoming Fatesworn expansion offers a new storyline, a new environment, several new quests, new Chaos Kingdom dungeons throughout Amalur, new gameplay mechanics, new weapons and armor, new enemies, a new level cap of 50, and much more for those who played the title 9 years ago and wished for a new challenge in Amalur.
Kingdoms of Amalur: Re-Reckoning Fatesworn will be available on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on December 14th. The new DLC is also playable on the Xbox X|S Series and PlayStation 5 thanks to backward compatibility.
