We also know how much space the game will take on your Switch.

One of the most anticipated games for this year on the Nintendo Switch is undoubtedly Kirby and The Forgotten Land. Although many of us had clear expectations that the game would see the light in the first quarter of 2022, a new trailer confirmed the release date. In addition to this, we already have certainty of how much space it will take up on your Switch. Surprisingly, it will weigh in at more than Super Mario Odyssey.

In Kirby and the Forgotten Land, we’ll embark on a three-dimensional adventure in which we’ll explore and uncover a mystery planet filled with abandoned constructions from an ancient civilization, including shopping malls, skyscrapers, and even rusted cars. Explore and battle through this colorful environment with Kirby’s buddy, Bandana Waddle Dee, to save the Waddle Dees.

A game that will remind us of what we experienced in Super Mario Odyssey.

Kirby and The Forgotten Land

Speaking of Super Mario Odyssey, this new game of the adorable Kirby presents a new adventure full of fun where we can see that it has absorbed a lot of elements of Mario Odyssey. By having such elaborate scenarios with incredible art, this is reflected in the size of the title.

The last Kirby game released for Switch, Kirby Star Allies, clocks in at about 4 GB, about 20% less than the weight of Super Mario Odyssey, released in 2017. Giving a bump in the table, Kirby and The Forgotten Land, will arrive at 5.6 GB! Perhaps it’s time for all those players who were thinking of getting the game in digital format to make space on their console or get a new SD.

Kirby and The Forgotten Land will be released on March 25th of this year for the Nintendo Switch. If you wish, you can pre-order the game now for $59.99.
