Knuckles Paramount Plus series confirmed

After many rumors, the filming and actors behind the Knuckles spin-off have been confirmed.

Little is said about how much Sonic the Hedgehog 2 is liked. Although not all fans were completely happy, in numbers the movie did very well. Knuckles the Echidna is back!

Knuckles is one of the most beloved characters in the Sonic the Hedgehog universe, first appearing in Sonic the Hedgehog 3 on Sega Genesis. He’s one of those villains that are loved. And, as expected, he took on a lot of importance and value in the second Sonic movie. However, fans were left with more of Knuckles the Echidna.

At the time, the production behind both movies announced the possible production of a third movie. They also said that a Knuckles series would be made in the future, but nothing was confirmed. In fact, rumors grew that it would never be made, as well as rumors that the series would be confirmed this year.

Sega, in conjunction with Paramount+ has today confirmed through Twitter what many have been waiting for! Production on the Knuckles the Echidna series has begun. Although not previously confirmed, it was already known that Idris Elba would be returning to voice Knuckles. However, it has also been confirmed that Elba will still be among the voice actors.
