Hudson Entertainment and Konami today announced Honeycomb Beat for the Nintendo DS has shipped to retail stores nationwide. An addictive puzzle game featuring intuitive pick up and play action, Honeycomb Beat lets players manipulate hexagonal Honeycombs on the game board with a unique touch screen control scheme across two mind-bending modes of play.
In Honeycomb Beat, players must use the Nintendo DS stylus to manipulate a formation of Honeycombs on the game screen. Touching Honeycombs flips them over, causing a ripple effect that changes the color of the surrounding panels. Using this simple yet addictive mechanic, players must meet certain level based objectives such clearing all Honeycombs from the game board by turning them the same color.
