Legend of Mana

Today, gamers can begin their adventure in Legend of Mana. Square Enix’s classic PlayStation JRPG has been remastered and is out now on PC, PS4, and Nintendo Switch.

The Mana series, known as Seiken Densetsu in Japan, is a nearly three-decade-old action RPG series with several installments. The series is known for its enthralling characters, plot, and soundtrack, as well as for pioneering an action-oriented approach to traditional JRPG combat.

In 2020, a full high-definition 3D remake of Trials of Mana was also released for modern platforms, selling over one million copies to date. Now Legend of Mana has been updated, bringing remastered visuals and the “Ring Ring Land” mini-game to the West for the first time.

Players in Legend of Mana will embark on a quest to find the mystical Mana Tree seen in a dream, only to discover that the world map is empty. Throughout their journey, they will collect special artifacts that can be used to bring towns and dungeons to life using the unique Land Creation system.

Legend of Mana includes restored graphics as well as a rearranged version of chosen songs from the gorgeous soundtrack, including ‘Hometown of Domina.’ Players will also be able to switch between the original and new soundtracks.

Throughout their journey, players will meet a diverse cast of characters, fight terrifying creatures in real-time action, and explore the enormous continent of Fa’Diel, all while immersing themselves in Legend of Mana‘s timeless tale. The game is currently available for $29.99 digitally on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC.
