Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past Review

Not many games on the SNES and Genesis were fully interactive and 3-D. A Link to the Past was one of these few games. You are Link, saving princess Zelda from Gannondorf by collecting the pieces of the tri-force and getting the master sword. After beating Gannondorf, you are sent to the dark world in search of Zelda to find challenges along the way.

The game is simple to play with and easy menus to navigate. There are over 50 items to pick up and use in the game. The movement is easy and battles are simple. There isn’t any multi player like the GBA version, but thats fine.

The graphics are basic for a SNES game. The difference is that the game is 3D. There are a lot of enemies and they have good graphics too. The sound is modest, but still it’s advanced for the SNES. There are sounds of water, enimies, swords and many other things. Plus, the music is all Zelda.

The Zelda fans will like this game due to its old-school Zelda style. The game is creative as any Zelda game is. With 3D environments and fully interactive charcters, the game just gets even better. LttP will keep you coming back for more. There is nothing better than a hardcore, pure Zelda game.
