Eiji Aonuma, the series producer behind Legend of Zedla, has stated in August’s edition of Nintendo Power that a Majora’s Mask remake would not be “an impossibility”. The game originally was released on Nintendo 64. Just last month Nintendo released a remake of Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 3DS.
“One of the big things that we made this remake possible was that there was an outpour of emotions from people who said they would like to see this game done,” Aonuma said, referring to Ocarina of Time. “I think certainly if there was a similar output of emotion and clamor from fans for a remake of Majora’s Mask, it wouldn’t be an utter impossibility.”
