LEGO Brawls coming to consoles this summer

Bandai Namco has confirmed that LEGO Brawls is getting a summer 2022 release date on consoles.

The family-friendly brawling game LEGO Brawls is coming soon to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. It is expected to launch on consoles in late summer 2022.

The game comes from developer Red Games. It was previously released exclusively for mobile devices. The console version lets players customize minifigures in a multiplayer brawler that features levels from iconic LEGO sets.

“In true LEGO fashion, LEGO Brawls gives players a slew of customization options to mix and match official LEGO bricks and create unique minifigure brawlers, complete with custom loadouts and power-ups tailored to each player’s preference and play style,” Bandai Namco says.

“Players can compete with everything from baguettes and pie cannons to boomboxes and rocket fists. With a range of multiplayer modes, unique challenges, and win conditions, all members of the family can join in the competitive brick-bashing fun,” the company adds.

Friends and family can compete for bragging rights or go for global glory with the online leaderboards. Multiplayer modes allow for up to eight players locally on Nintendo Switch and Xbox consoles, while PlayStation consoles feature up to four players. Online modes allow for eight-player matches and co-op between two to four players.
