Lienzo delays Aztech Forgotten Gods to 2022, but we are treated to an extended gameplay trailer

Aztech Forgotten Gods

The development team behind Mulaka had announced in April the release of Aztech Forgotten Gods for fall, but things have changed.

Lienzo announced today the delay of the release of Aztech Forgotten Gods. The new estimated release dates for the game will be during the first quarter of 2022. To compensate for the bad news of the delay, the developers have given us a new gameplay trailer where we can see more of what Lienzo already presented in April.

Live this Aztec adventure as Achtli.

Aztech Forgotten Gods is an action-adventure game with cyberpunk elements set in an alternate Tenochtitlan universe where we take on the role of Achtli, a young lady who confronts the gigantic Forgotten Gods.

To discover the truth behind her far-future Mesoamerican metropolis, she’ll have to use the Gods’ strength against them as she flies across the city with power and elegance, aided by an old relic from a long-forgotten time.

Another piece of good news is that all gamers looking forward to this adventure set in ancient Aztec civilizations will be able to play a fresh new demo during Steam’s NEXT Fest, which runs from Friday, October 1 to Thursday, October 7. Lienzo reveals that in this new demo, we will face Coatlicue, Mother of All, and discover some mysteries of the explorable metropolis.

Aztech Forgotten Gods will be available in Q1 2022 for the Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC through Steam.
