Life is Strange: True Colors

Life is Strange: True Colors the new title from Deck Nine Games that presents the beginning of a new stage of Life is Strange.

We’ve been following this game from its reveal on Game Freaks 365, and now Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange: True Colors, the highly anticipated new title from Deck Nine Games, is now available on all platforms. Life Is Strange: True Colors ushers in a new chapter in the award-winning and highly renowned Life is Strange series, complete with a new protagonist, a new power, and an exciting mystery to unravel.

Alex Chen’s adventure, his power and his future are in your hands.

As previously stated, the game will deal with the mysteries and complexities of Alex Chen’s adult life in Haven Springs, a small mountain hamlet where everyone knows everyone and where she quickly becomes fully integrated. After years of quiet, Alex re-connects with her brother Gabe, who has relocated to town in search of his father.

In the middle of all of this, Alex struggles to embrace the curse she has carried her whole life: the capacity to sense, absorb, and control the strong sentiments of others, which she interprets as colorful auras. When her brother is killed in a strange accident, Alex is forced to learn to harness her strength in order to find the truth and reveal Haven Springs’ secrets. You hold the key to Alex Chen’s journey, power, and future.

“This game was born out of a question that fascinated us during the development of Before the Storm—how can video games act as tools for exploring empathy?” said Jonathan Zimmerman, Narrative Director at Deck Nine Games.

“Today, this question grips us and beguiles us as much as ever. After 17 months, and counting, of global trauma, isolation, and loneliness, we are deeply humbled to be offering up a story about connection and hope against all odds. Much as Alex’s power allows her to feel the emotional truths of others, we hope players will feel the love we poured into the game as an expression of the immense gratitude that we share for each other, and our Life is Strange community.” He added.

Life Is Strange: True Colors is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. The game’s Nintendo Switch version will be released towards the end of the year.
