Ubisoft announced today that the Far Cry 6 Original Game Soundtrack is now available on all major music streaming and download platforms worldwide.

Something that Far Cry games have always had is unique soundtracks that have made the gaming experience indelible. With the new soundtrack album composed by Pedro Bromfman, creator of the Narcos and Robocob soundtracks, you can feel life in the tropical paradise that Far Cry 6 has to offer with each of the album’s different songs.

“The album is based on a very modern score, drenched in lush soundscapes, driving percussion, processed organic instruments and a ton of synthesizers. We tried to capture the soul of Yara, and its characters, by rooting the score on traditional Latin American and Caribbean music, while being completely free to experiment with contemporary sounds, elements and techniques, in hopes of creating something very fresh and unique,” says Pedro Bromfman.

Far Cry 6 is set in the tropical paradise of Yara. However, life in paradise is not one long beach day with Mai Tais. The dictator Anton Castillo controls Yara along with his son, Diego. Castillo’s oppressive rule has sparked a revolution.

Yara is an island trapped in time in the heart of the Caribbean, inspired by diverse music genres and Latin cultures, where listeners will discover dynamic melodies that define the tone of the game and its distinct areas. The Western area is packed with acoustic melodies, the Central region is a unique combination of urban music and hip-hop components, and the Eastern section is loaded with strong industrial sounds.

Far Cry 6 launches on October 7. You can pre-order the game for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. It’s also coming to PC and Google Stadia.
