Mario Kart Tour gets landscape mode in new update
A new update for Mario Kart Tour will let you play the game horizontally in landscape mode.
Mario Kart Tour launched last year on Android and iOS devices. The game received mixed reviews, including from me, with users complaining about poor controls and loot boxes.
However, Nintendo Mobile has steadily released new content like a Tokyo tour, the addition of multiplayer, and team races. Plus, Mario Kart Tour helped Nintendo reach $1 billion in lifetime revenue from mobile games. So the game is a financial success, even if it is not critically acclaimed.
The landscape mode update is coming on July 21. So you will not have to wait long before trying it out. The game itself is free-to-play with microtransactions. It is available via Google Play and the App Store.
My Take
This mode should have been the standard when the game first came out last year. But, hey, better late than never, I guess?
