Mario Kart Tour travels to Tokyo in latest game update

Nintendo has added the Tokyo Tour to the mobile-only Mario Kart Tour.

The new course is Tokyo Blur T. It’s a dense urban course set in the middle of Japan’s capital. You can see the iconic Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji in the background.

Aside from a new Tokyo-themed course, Nintendo has added Peach in a kimono, a rickshaw kart, and a Japanese-style umbrella glider.

Gold Pass subscribers have a chance to get Dry Browser, which looks similar to Dry Bones but it’s Bowser instead.

The Tokyo Tour update comes in at 140MB. It is available now on Android and iOS devices.

Mario Kart Tour has received mixed reviews from critics, including from this site. In my review, I wrote that “it can be fun in short bursts” but that it has many annoyances.
