Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 exclusive to Switch

Sega revealed Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 at E3 today. The game is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 will feature full motion control support with the Switch’s Joy-Con controllers. In addition, you can play both local split-screen and online multiplayer.

Tokyo 2020 allows fans to play as their favorite characters from both the Mario and Sonic universes. The character roster includes Mario, Sonic, Luigi, Knuckles, Peach, Amy, Dr. Robotnik, Yoshi, and Tails. More will be announced later.

This year’s version will debut some new events including surfing, skateboarding, karate, and sport climbing. The classic event lineup of gymnastics, swimming, 110m hurdles, soccer, equestrian, and archery are all back as well.
