Mark Hamill arrives to teach Cal Kestis how to be a Jedi Master in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor

In a little sketch made by EA and PlayStation, we see the return of Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker.

Despite the last trilogy, Star Wars remains a big hit with fans. This franchise has not only left us with great movies but has revolutionized cinema. And if that wasn’t enough, from the shadows it has also done it with video games.

That’s why just one day before the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the hype is skyrocketing! And, Mark Hamill couldn’t resist the urge to guide Cal Kestis to become a Jedi master. Or well… That’s what Hamill tried to do in the recent sketch released by EA and PlayStation.

“I’m Luke Skywalker. I’m here to rescue you.”

Star Wars has been a hit on and off the big screen. And, although it has had a road full of ups and downs in video games, there have been excellent titles in the franchise. A clear example of this is Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi saga. A series of titles that managed to recover the essence that Star Wars: The Force Unleashed once presented.

However, beyond Respawn’s work developing the titles, we have to give a lot of merits to Cameron Monaghan. This actor has personified Cal Kestis in an incredible way. He has managed to make the character not feel like a simple video game character. The same thing that Mark Hamill achieved in his day with the personification of Luke Skywalker.

Two incredible actors who have achieved two incredible characters. And, what would happen if we unite the two? That’s what EA and PlayStation have done in their latest sketch released today. Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker has taken the task and time to teach Cal Kestis how to be a Jedi master.

Aside from the awesomeness of the reunion, this sketch will have you laughing and excited for the release of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. And, from what we’ve seen in trailers and gameplay, the game will be up to the task!

A few bugs before launching

Despite everything we’ve seen in gameplays and trailers, it looks like the PC port won’t be up to par. Developers are betting more and more to offer games with incredible quality. And, just as it happened for TLOU Part I, it seems to be happening with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

The testers and press personnel who have already been able to play the game on PC have been very surprised. One might think it would be a positive surprise, but it has been quite the opposite. Bugs, performance issues, and PC freezes have also plagued Respawn’s title.

However Respawn, in response to the testers’ response, has already taken action. They have notified us that an update completely fixing the game’s bugs will arrive tonight, or with the game’s release. In addition, the development team has released small updates that have already made the game very stable.

Hopefully, everything will be fixed. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor launches today on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can buy it at Amazon and Playasia.
