Martha Is Dead has been a long journey for us, but we’re now nearing the point where the whole world will get to play it,” says Luca Dalco, Founder & Director, LKA.

“this is an experience curated to be faithful and accurate to the era, from our authentic recreation of the Tuscan countryside through to the impact that WWII had on Italy. We can’t wait for people to experience the game for themselves,” he added.

Exceptional graphics

Developer LKA utilized one of the accessible technologies introduced by this engine named “Metahuman” when working with Unreal Engine 4. To put it simply, this technology uses face recognition to capture gestures, motions, and natural expressions of humans and then transmits them to a 3D character, which also replicates the human form in a significant way, resulting in a character modeling that is true to reality.

With this technology employed for the characters, as well as the immersive exhibition of impending suspense visible throughout the game, this title is one to look out for next year.

Martha Is Dead is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on February 24, 2022.
