Konami today announced that Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D for the Nintendo 3DS will be released on February 21, 2012. Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D is a reworked version of the original best-selling PlayStation 2 title, bringing the immersive jungle setting to life using the Nintendo 3DS glasses-free 3D. The company has also confirmed that the new game will make use of the new Circle Pad Pro accessory, which is scheduled for a February release alongside Resident Evil: Revelations.
