The teaser also depicts an adversary that seems to be Kraid, a huge beast with whom Samus has previously battled. Meanwhile, some skills are classics, while others are entirely new.

The Sudden Impulse, for example, enables Samus to overcome a large number of barriers in a single instant. Grapple Beam, on the other hand, produces an energy beam that allows you to control scene objects to escape precipices with balance. The character locks on and launches a barrage of tiny missiles while utilizing the Multi-Missile System.

Metroid Dread will be released on October 8 exclusively for Nintendo Switch. You can pre-order the game at Amazon and Walmart.
