Microsoft announces Xbox Gamescom 2022 lineup

Gamescom is just around the corner. Microsoft has announced its Xbox lineup.

Gamers will soon converge on Cologne, Germany for the first in-person Gamescom since 2019. Of course, Microsoft is going to be there, and they recently announced their Gamescom 2022 Xbox game lineup.

“We’re really looking forward to being back on the show floor, bringing our passionate fans together again in person to celebrate what’s ahead at Xbox,” the company said.

What’s at the Xbox Booth?

Microsoft’s Xbox booth is back at Gamescom. It is located in Hall 8. Fans can expect 36 different stations with a lineup of game content that is coming to Xbox over the next 12 months. Many of the games will arrive on Xbox Game Pass on day one.

If you’re attending the show, you can expect to get hands-on time with the following games from Xbox Game Studios:

  • Pentiment  (Obsidian Entertainment)
  • Age of Empires IV  (Relic Entertainment & World’s Edge)
  • Microsoft Flight Simulator  (Asobo Studio)
  • Sea of Thieves  (Rare Games)
  • Grounded (Obsidian Entertainment)

In addition, Xbox is partnering with third-party publishers with playable titles at the Xbox booth. The games include: 

  • A Plague Tale: Requiem (Asobo Studio / Focus Entertainment)
  • Disney Dreamlight Valley (Gameloft)
  • Gunfire Reborn (Duoyi Games / 505 Games)
  • Inkulinati (Yaza Games / Daedalic Entertainment)
  • Last Case of Benedict Fox (Plot Twist Games / Rogue Games)
  • Lies of P (Neowiz)
  • Lightyear Frontier (Frame Break)
  • Planet of Lana (Wishfully / Thunderful)
  • You Suck at Parking (Happy Volcano)
