Xbox head Phil Spencer took to Twitter to let fans know that he’s excited about sharing news on Xbox at E3 2021.

“Glad to see the game industry coming together again in June for a digital E3. This and other summer events are proof that our industry is strongest when we work together. Looking forward to sharing what we have in store this summer,” Spencer tweeted.

Yesterday, the ESA confirmed that E3 2021 is taking place in June as an all-digital event. Companies attending the online show include Nintendo, Microsoft, Capcom, Konami, Ubisoft, 2K, WB Games, and Koch Media. Microsoft’s main rival – Sony – is not on the list of companies supporting E3 this year. Neither are major publishers Activision and EA.

My Take

It’ll be interesting to see what Microsoft has in store for Xbox fans at E3. Hopefully, we’ll learn more about the new Fable and Forza Motorsport, as well as new gameplay for Halo Infinite. Who knows what surprises the company has in store as they have steadily dripped Xbox Game Pass news all year long.
