Midway Games today announced the company’s 2006 lineup of products for Sony’s PlayStation Portable. The 2006 PSP lineup will include titles based on top Midway franchises such as NBA Ballers: Rebound, expected to ship in spring; Mortal Kombat: Unchained, scheduled for fall; and a new RUSH racing title, scheduled to ship for the holidays, because we all know releasing crappy console games on handhelds works great.
“In 2006, Midway will begin our strong support of the PSP handheld market by bringing some of our top franchises to the system,” said Steve Allison, chief marketing officer, Midway. “All of these titles are perfect for gaming on the go, whether it’s a pick-up game of NBA Ballers: Rebound, a quick race in RUSH or a fight to the death in Mortal Kombat: Unchained.”
