Midway Games today announced that it has expanded its international operations with the formation of a new subsidiary, Midway Games SAS, and the establishment of a new office in Paris, France. Midway Games SAS will handle Midway’s sales and marketing in France with some sales being retained with current distributor Nobilis SA. Midway’s new office will be headed up by industry veteran, Antoine Seux.
“With the addition of our French subsidiary to our other European sales offices in Germany, established in early 2005, and the UK, we now have a direct presence in territories that represent the majority of software sales in Europe,” said David F. Zucker, president and chief executive officer of Midway. “Growth and expansion in the European territories continues to be a major initiative for Midway, and we believe this move establishes Midway as a force in the European territory.”
