Thanks to a modder fan of the game, Bella has been included in The Last of Us Part 2, confirming the great decision made by HBO to star in the series that is five days away from being released.

There has been a lot of criticism after the decision of Bella Ramsey to star as Ellie in the HBO series. There has even been some controversy on social media comparing Bella and Ellie’s looks. Even so, HBO through images, small teasers, and all the content leaked on networks has confirmed why they have chosen her.
Still, the question of whether Bella is the right leading lady to play this role is still trending to this day. Therefore, a modder wanted to take the answer to that question one step further. They have developed a mod for The Last of Us 2 where Bella is introduced into the game. Thanks to this, we can see Bella Ramsey playing the role of Ellie in the first instance.
The mod is a very accurate work. Despite having minor issues with Bella’s modeling, it’s still a very faithful version of what we’ll see in the HBO series. Although, we can’t lie, seeing Ramsey as Ellie is a little strange. Maybe we’re just too used to seeing Ellie’s face by now. But, still, it’s an impressive job by the modder.
Only five days until the premiere and it’s already a success
HBO’s The Last of Us series is one of the most anticipated video game adaptations in recent years. It is expected that this adaptation will be well done since Naughty Dog is involved in its production of it. Proof of this was what we saw in the first teaser for the series late last year, a teaser where we could see different shots practically 1:1 to those of the game.

This is understandable since there are only five days left until the premiere of the series. (The first episode runs over an hour long!) Critics in unison have declared The Last of Us series to be a masterpiece. Many have even called it the best video game adaptation in the history of cinema. And if that wasn’t enough, it has achieved 19 positive reviews, 1 mixed, and 0 negative reviews from critics on Metacritic.
A result that has simply made fans of the game more eager to see the series. In just five days, we can confirm if it is a masterpiece or just another mediocre adaptation.
