Monster Train: First Class is finally arriving on Nintendo Switch after a successful run on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
Monster Train, the popular roguelike deck-building card battler, is coming to Nintendo Switch. The Switch version of The Shiny Shoe game contains the complete basic game and The Last Divinity DLC. Plus, players can expect extra cards, units, and gameplay elements included in several free updates since the game’s initial release.

Monster Train is a deck-building strategy game with a tactical twist: defend not one, but three vertical battlegrounds at the same time as you battle the forces of heaven to protect the ultimate pyre. To win, you must carefully plan your course, gather formidable troops, and develop your cards and champions. With hundreds of cards to collect, six clans with different gameplay to mix and match, and a variety of responses to a variety of challenges, no Monster Train run is ever the same.
The game made its debut last year to widespread and critical acclaim, featuring on numerous “Best of 2020” lists and earning a nomination for Strategy/Simulation Game of the Year at the 24th Annual D.I.C.E. Awards.
Monster Train First Class will be available for Nintendo Switch on August 19, 2021. The game is now available for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, and Xbox Game Pass.
