MVP Baseball 2005 Taken Off Xbox Live

MVP Baseball 2005 (PlayStation 2 and Xbox), winner of Game Freaks 365’s “Best Sports” award in 2005, has been taken off of Xbox Live. A source at EA told us that it is usually “at least a two year server thing”, but that “it
was done for legal reasons with the MVP license.” Take-Two obtained exclusive third-party rights to the MLB license last year, forcing EA to release MVP 06 NCAA Baseball during 2006’s baseball season. “Normally, this is done
when [the] number of players drops under a certain point,” but in this case, was done for the legal reasons mentioned.
