Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is out now

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels launches today on PC and PS4. Switch and Xbox One releases are coming later this week.

Based on the hit Netflix series Narcos, the game has players relive events from the first season. You either take the side of the DEA or Medellin Cartel in two distinct campaigns set in 1980s Columbia.

The game features iconic locations and characters from the show including El Mexicano, Murphy, Peña, Primo and more. Each character comes with their own unique gameplay abilities and perks to help you in battle.

Narcos: Rise of the Cartels is a tactical turn-based game in the vein of XCOM. Players are able to form their own teams from a variety of class-specific roles and upgrade their skills. You will be able to take direct control of units at critical moments.
