Naughty Dog donates Jak and Daxter Collector’s Editions revenue to charity

In a rather remarkable announcement, Naughty Dog says that it will donate all money received from Limited Run Games’ sales of Jak and Daxter Collector’s Editions to charity.

The Limited Run Games collector’s editions ranged in price from $74.99 for Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy to $199.99 for Jak II. They also released collector’s editions for Jak 3 and Jak X: Combat Racing. All of them have sold out.

“We’re proud to lend our support to these groups advocating and advancing important work for accessibility, environmental conservation, veterans, the LGBTQ+ community, and children’s hospitals,” Naughty Dog’s president, Evan Wells, wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

The charities that will receive Naughty Dog’s portion of the sales include K9 for Warriors, Child’s Play, Surfrider Foundation, LGBT Center of Los Angeles, AbleGamers, and DAGERS.

We tip our hat to Naughty Dog for this generous donation during the holiday season. And while we’re talking about acts of kindness, can we please get a new Jak and Daxter game as a PS5 launch title? Pleeaaase? We asked nicely!
