In a new 10-minute video published Thursday on Sony’s official PlayStation YouTube channel, developer Naughty Dog goes behind the scenes of The Last of Us Part 2.
The developers talk about the long wait between its last showing at E3 2018 and the recent big news during this week’s PlayStation State of Play that The Last of Us Part 2 will be released exclusively on PS4 on February 21, 2020.
“We’ve been heads down, quiet because we want to make sure we have the proper time to do this game justice,” says Neil Druckmann, the game’s director.

“We really wanted to wait until we had something awesome, and new, and exciting to talk about, because we’ve been so mysterious,” adds Halley Gross, the narrative lead for The Last of Us Part 2.
