NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is free to play now through April 15 on Xbox One and PC via Steam. It won’t make up for the suspended NBA season, but it’s better than nothing. Right?
NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is the sequel to the original arcade take on street balling. The game includes a large roster of current and retired NBA players. You can take your street matches online with up to four players.
“This is the kick-off of 2K’s Give Back Project, which offers Free Play periods for the 2K community on Xbox and Steam,” 2K Sports says. The company promises more free play periods in the future.

Once your free play period ends, you can get the game for pretty cheap. It is currently on sale for $7.49 at the Microsoft Store for Xbox One. It’s also available for $14.99 on Switch and PS4. Meanwhile, it’s $29.99 on PC.
