Netflix today sent out an e-mail informing their vast base of subscribers that the company is making changes yet again. “I messed up. I owe you an explanation,” the company’s Co-Founder and President, Reed Hastings, opened in the e-mail detailing further changes.
After increasing the price of their DVD + streaming service, Netflix is essentially severing the two altogether. A new website known as Qwikster (qwikster.com) will feature DVDs by-mail as well as video games. The original Netflix name and website will be exclusively dedicated to streaming video.
