Virtually every conceivable platform has adopted Netflix as an extension of the entertainment experience: Wii, PS3, Xbox 360. You can now add Nintendo 3DS to the list, making it the first handheld game system to receive the service. Currently, Netflix only supports 2D playback on the Nintendo 3DS, but plans call for 3D content in the near future. For $8 a month users can stream movies and television shows from any number of devices.
