Sony has announced a new and more energy-efficient PS3 that will soon be available in Japan. They have not confirmed whether it will be released in the United States or Europe. “The revision, dubbed CECH-3000B, includes minor updates, such as dropping power consumption from 230W to 200W, cutting its weight by nearly a full pound, and the removal of LED lights,” IGN reports. The system will continue to include a 320GB hard drive.
