Nintendo is bringing a new Wii bundle, including modified hardware, to retailers this fall. The new black system looks the same except that it will sit horizontally instead of standing vertically. The company has also dumped GameCube backwards compatibility. The same device was announced in Europe a few months back, although a North American launch was not confirmed until now. The bundle will include the system, a black Wii Remote Plus, a nunchuk and a copy of New Super Mario Bros. Wii. The new bundle will retail for $149.99 starting October 23.
