Nier Orchestra Concert coming to America, Europe

Square Enix has confirmed that North American and European audiences will be able to experience NieR: Orchestra Concert re:12018 in early 2020. This follows four sold-out shows in Tokyo last year.

NieR: Orchestra Concert re:12018 is a multimedia concert performed with a full symphony orchestra and chorus. It features the vocal stylings of renowned soloist Emi Evans, under the direction of Grammy Award-winning conductor Arnie Roth.

Nier: Automata director Yoko Taro and composer Keiichi Okabe have created HD video projections specifically for the concerts, which will be projected onto giant screens throughout the performance. The spectacular visuals will accompany over 100 musicians on stage.

The Nier: Automata Game of the YoRHa Edition is available now on the PS4 and PC via Steam. Our own Cliff Bakehorn gave the game an 8 out of 10, calling the experience “satisfying” despite having an overly convoluted plot.

Nier: Automata comes from renowned Japanese studio Platinum Games, which has given us games like MadWorld and Bayonetta. They most recently released the Switch-exclusive Astral Chain.
