Nintendo announced Pokemon Black and White 2 over the weekend, confirming the first official Pokemon sequels to date. Today, the company released the first teaser video for Black and White 2.
The brief teaser reveals very little about the game – almost nothing, in fact – but it finally gives a name to the new monsters that were seen in the first official image of Black and White 2 (seen above). Originally believed to be evolved forms of Reshiram and Zekrom – the legendary Pokemon on the covers of Pokemon Black and White – the teaser confirms that the monsters are actually Black and White forms of Kyruem, another legendary Pokemon introduced in the fifth generation. Pokemon Black and White 2 are slated to launch in Japan sometime in June. According to the teaser, Americans can expect to see the Nintendo DS sequels arrive sometime in the fall.
