Nintendo Reveals Wii U Price, Release Date

Nintendo’s New York City Wii U media event gave gamers the final details that they were eagerly waiting to hear. Nintendo’s sixth console will launch on November 18 in North America and November 30 in Europe. The company decided to offer two separate versions: a 8GB “Basic” model for $300 and a 32GB “Deluxe” model for $350.

The Basic model comes with the console, a Wii U GamePad, HDMI cable, sensor bar and an AC adapter. The Deluxe model comes with everything in the Basic model plus a charging cradle, a stand for the GamePad, a stand for the console, and a copy of Nintendo Land. New Super Mario Bros. U will be a launch title, but will not ship with either of the system configurations.
