It’s midnight on November 19, 2006, meaning that the Wii is now officially out. Nintendo Wii was sold out at game stores and big name retailers like Wal-Mart, Meijer and others. Many stores in the South Bend, Indiana area are getting 30 systems, but around 15 stores were all sold out by 7 p.m. Saturday night. Tents were placed outside of a Mishawaka, Indiana Wal-Mart store as dozens of eager gamers waited patiently for the new system. I’m writing this now after unsuccessfully finding a Wii anywhere in town. The last hope is to camp all night at Target, which is what I’m going to do right now. To all of you that hope to have a Wii sometime tonight or tomorrow, good night, and good luck. I will post pictures in the morning, as well as an updated news article on the launch of Nintendo’s Wii.
