The official PlayStation Twitter account confirmed today that Nioh 2 is getting an open beta running from November 1 to November 10.
Last week, Nioh 2’s early 2020 release window was confirmed in a Tokyo Game Show trailer. Now fans will have something to look forward to playing even sooner than that.
We also now know that the game will allow players to choose the gender and race of the main character. If you were hoping to play the hero from the first game, it looks like you’ll be out of luck.

In addition to the beta announcement, there was a 50-minute gameplay demo at the Tokyo Game Show. It’s in Japanese, but at least you’ll get to see the game in action. You can watch that below!
