Nioh Remastered includes a photo mode

Nioh Remastered The Nioh Collection

Team Ninja revealed earlier this month that they are bringing a remastered Nioh and Nioh 2 to PS5 as part of The Nioh Collection. Now we have word that Nioh Remastered includes a photo mode.

The news comes via a tweet. While the tweet itself is in Japanese, the included screenshot clearly shows a photo mode featured within the game. It looks like the tool will have a number of different settings for snapping the perfect shot.

The Nioh Collection lets fans relive or experience for the first time the entire series on PlayStation 5, including all of the DLC. Both Nioh and Nioh 2 are also coming as standalone games on PS5 as their own respective Complete Editions.

“All of the titles available on PlayStation 5 will support 4K resolution for crystal clear visuals, up to 120 FPS gameplay for silky smooth combat, ultra-fast load times, and the ability to transfer your data from the PS4 versions to pick up your journey right where you left off,” Team Ninja says.

Nioh 2 launched earlier this year on PS4. A post-launch update added a Photo Mode, so we expect that it should look quite similar in Nioh Remastered.

Meanwhile, pre-orders are open now for The Nioh Collection on PS5. The game is expected to launch on February 5, 2021.
