No Man’s Sky Beyond VR update goes live on August 14

Hello Games has confirmed the release date for No Man’s Sky Beyond, a free VR update to their universe-crossing action-adventure survival game.

The update adds the ability to play the entire game using a VR headset, such as the PlayStation VR, as well as “many other additions.” The free update goes live on August 14 for both PC and PS4.

No Man’s Sky first launched on PC, PS4, and Xbox One back in 2016. After first announcing the ambitious procedurally-generated game to much fanfare, No Man’s Sky disappointed many gamers upon its release.
