No Midway Support for 360; Current-gen Continues

In an interview with TheStreet.com, Midway Games, the popular Chicago publisher behind the Mortal Kombat series, The Suffering, Psi Ops, NFL Blitz, and several arcade classics, will not be supporting the Xbox 360 launch. They instead will focus on the PS3. They didn’t rule out potential development down the line.

As for current-generation consoles, David Zucker, CEO of Midway, said, “first, there are a lot of existing, legacy consoles out there, so we’re continuing to make games for the current generation of hardware. We have a bunch of big titles, even next year, on the PS2 and some on the Xbox.
