Bloober Team today announced a short delay for the physical release of Observer: System Redux.
The dark cyberpunk thriller has been pushed back one week. It will now come out on July 23. The retail release –which is in partnership with Koch Media – allows fans to purchase physical copies of the title for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X | S.
In addition, the Observer: System Redux digital release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will coincide with the physical release. System Redux was previously released on PS5 and Xbox One as a digital-only game.
Observer: System Redux will be available in both digital and physical formats for $29.99. The Koch Media physical edition includes the game, a softcover art book, and the soundtrack.
Drew was a fan of System Redux. In his review, he wrote that the game is “more of a definitive edition than a full remake.” Despite that, he notes that it “drastically fixes most of the problems people had with the original release.” As a result, it is “one of Bloober Team’s finest.”
