They have listened to the fans

Outbreak: Endless Nightmares was very lucky. The game’s community usually gives a lot of feedback about the game. Positive or negative, the community gives the developers all kinds of comments regarding the game to improve the gameplay experience. Apparently, Dead Drop Studio loved many of the ideas.

The studio has added more than 20 improvements to the game thanks to direct feedback from fans. Precision aiming and freelook are the new default control scheme for over-the-shoulder and first-person shooter modes. Weapon balancing has also greatly improved, with powerful weapons like shotguns dealing the explosive damage you’ve come to expect when slaying hordes of zombies. Co-op mode has also received some changes, and many more gameplay fixes are added to this update.

Making the most of the potential of the new generation of consoles

Although the game’s dark aesthetic with detailed shadows is visually appealing, Dead Drop Studios will take full advantage of the new generation of consoles to improve the game’s graphics and FPS stability.

In addition to the game resolution and graphics quality, Xbox Series X users may now pick v-sync and graphics quality choices. To prioritize framerate or graphical quality, gamers will now be able to choose among Performance (1080p), Quality (1080p with real-time shadows), Performance+ (Native 4K), and Quality+ (Native 4K with real-time shadows).

In addition to almost three times faster loading times and a 20 percent framerate increase, all other consoles (Xbox One and Xbox Series S) will gain distinct v-sync options to target 60fps, 30fps, or unlock the framerate. That’s in addition to a 20 percent framerate boost.

Plus, there are some minor changes to the game such as bug fixes, problems with undead respawning and many more that are not as relevant as the ones mentioned above.

Outbreak: Endless Nightmares‘ new major update is now available for Xbox One and Xbox X Series X|S. The game was also released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
