Square Enix released the Outriders demo earlier today. It’s surprisingly long and full-featured.
As we mentioned earlier this week, players can experience the full opening chapter of the Outriders campaign. It caps at three hours of gameplay per playthrough. Progress will transfer to the full game for players who purchase on the same platform.
The demo allows players to try out all four classes in the game: Devastator, Pyromancer, Technomancer, and Trickster. Plus, co-op is available in the demo. It unlocks after you finish the prologue, including a beta version of the full crossplay system that will be available at launch.
“We believe in an honest and transparent marketing campaign, and what better way to deliver on this promise than to allow players to experience Outriders before launch with a free demo on their chosen platform,” said Jon Brooke, Co-Head of Studio at Square Enix External Studios.
The demo is available on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and GeForce Now.
