Square Enix has announced the release date for Outriders on Google Stadia.
Outriders is an RPG shooter previously confirmed for Stadia, but a release date was not announced. It will include the Stadia-exclusive Stream Connect feature. This allows players to view their friends’ gameplay through a picture-in-picture overlay in real-time.
“We’re excited to team with Google to bring Outriders to Stadia with Stadia-exclusive features and the highest levels of performance, allowing players to get the best experience on all supported devices,” said Jon Brooke, Co-Head of Studio at Square Enix External Studios.

The Stadia release is scheduled to coincide with the delayed launch on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. It’s set to drop on April 1, 2021. And, no, it does not appear to be an April Fools joke.
