Ouya Will Support OnLive Game Streaming

Ouya, the $99 Android-based console, will support game streaming using the OnLive service. The OnLive service streams games over a high-speed Internet connection to the OnLive Game Console, PCs and smartphones. Ouya will be the first third party console manufacturer to support the service.

If you haven’t heard of Ouya we won’t hold it against you. It is a new console meant to support indie as well as traditionally published games using the open source Android OS. The company behind the system has so far raised $5.6 million towards the project using crowd-sourcing site Kickstarter. It is scheduled to ship in March 2013.
