Overcooked celebrates its fourth anniversary with a cute comic strip

It’s hard to believe, but the frantic co-op cooking game Overcooked just recently turned four years old. Meanwhile, Overcooked 2 came out two years ago today.

To celebrate the anniversary, Team 17 and developer Ghost Town Games released an original Overcooked comic strip. The comic is written by Ghost Town Games’ lead writer, Gemma Langford. Los Angeles-based animator and comic artist, Amelia Allore, created the art.

The comic features series protagonists The Onion King and Kevin the Dog as they enjoy a day at the beach. Check it out!

Overcooked launched back in August 2016 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. A Nintendo Switch port came out in 2017. Its sequel, Overcooked 2, was released in 2018 on the same platforms.

The series has been in the news lately. Team 17 recently released the free Sun’s Out Buns Out DLC in Overcooked 2. Meanwhile, Overcooked All You Can Eat was announced for PS5 and Xbox Series X late last month. That game is a full remaster of both titles for next-gen hardware.
