Panzer Tactics DS Storms E3

WWII combat is going portable, as CDV Software Entertainment today announced Panzer Tactics DS for the Nintendo DS system. Panzer Tactics DS will take full advantage of the Nintendo DS Touch Screen controls and WiFi play to bring gamers the ultimate in handheld WWII combat. The game will be on display throughout the week at the E3 Expo in Los Angeles and is scheduled to ship in Q4 2006.

In development by Sproing, Panzer Tactics DS will be the first turn-based WWII strategy game for the Nintendo DS. The game is played on hex-based maps and offers a variety of control options, and includes full Nintendo DS Touch Screen support for unit command. A variety of multiplayer modes, playable via Nintendo Wifi-Connection, wireless multiplayer and “hotseat” (two players on one Nintendo DS) will round out the game’s offerings.
