Overseer Games, an independent Croatian studio, has announced the release of its new PC game today. Patron is a survival city builder with a unique social dynamics system that genre lovers will enjoy as the day of the release of Age of Empires 4 approaches.
In Patron, you must acquire and create resources in order to transform your nascent hamlet into a rich metropolis while navigating the subtle social tensions before they reach a boiling point. Sounds simple enough, right?
“Our main idea was to create a game that doesn’t just offer players the chance to build up a successful city but asks them to create and manage growing society lives within it, with all the ups and downs that come with that,” developer Overseer Games says.
Patron is available now for PC on Steam and GOG for $19.99.
