Phantom Breaker: Omnia

Phantom Breaker: Omnia improves on what was presented in Phantom Breaker: Extra.

Rocket Panda Games and Mages announced today that Phantom Breaker: Omnia, the latest version of 5pb’s 2D fighting game franchise, will be released on PC and consoles in March 2022.

In Phantom Breaker: Omnia, a strange figure known only as ‘Phantom’ emerges in Tokyo, manipulating weak teens into battling each other by bestowing supernatural weapons of enormous strength known as ‘Fu-mension Artifacts’ on them. In exchange, he pledges to grant their dream if they live.

The violent clashes between these artifacts caused distortions in space-time, putting the boundaries between parallel universes at risk. The collision of these parallel realities would ultimately breach the barrier, releasing Phantom’s deadly abilities.

Following the successful 2013 release of Phantom Breaker: Battle Grounds, Omnia will be the first fighting game title in the franchise to have a Western release. It will contain new characters, HD visuals, and other features.

“Today, the team is ecstatic to announce ‘Phantom Breaker: Omnia‘s’ release date,” Rocket Panda Games said in a news release. “The addition of new characters, features, and updates to the game has taken more time than anticipated – but for our first self-published game we had to ensure we’re producing the game to the best of our ability.”

Phantom Breaker: Omnia is coming to the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam on March 15, 2022. It is backward compatible on PS5 and Xbox Series X.
